Stacy and Alex escaped the city to a West Coast Wilderness Lodge elopement. They decided on a traditional elopement to the Sunshine Coast BC with only their closest family members present. They fully intend on having a great reception party when they can. So many weddings this year have been altered and postponed because of Covid!
Sunshine Coast Elopements are so stunning!
The West Coast Wilderness Lodge is so stunning! Its about an hour and a half drive from the BC Ferry terminal in Langdale. It’s a very scenic drive up the coast so take your time and stop at some of our great coffee shops or pubs along the way! There are so many things to do in Egmont once you get here. The Skookumchuk Rapids are world renowned and you can check the tidal charts for when it is running. There are many small warm lakes nearby as well as Ruby and Sakinaw that are famously warm in the summer for swimming and recreating on! Kayak anyone? There are rentals nearby as well as jet skies and other tours.
All details were carefully taken care of by the West Coast Wilderness Lodge elopement crew. From the amazing bouquet, to the makeup and hair and champagne to celebrate after. It really was the most perfect elopement. The weather was just a wee bit drizzly that morning, but cleared up for the ceremony, and the light was heavenly for this photographer! Mid day sun is nice too but mid August can be scorching!
